Origins and Types of Magic
I’ve never understood why people dislike psionic magic, although my first introduction to the idea was through 4e. I knew that psionics existed in previous editions, but never played them or really understood them. 4e too the concept of psionics though and made it distinctly magical. They defined it as simply being another vein of magical power, just like arcane, shadow and divine. Psionics to me have always been intrinsically magical.
Magic and Changing It Up
I have really been pushing to play more casual Magic lately. Neither standard nor legacy has interested me lately and I’m at a lost for what I want to play with modern. I keep testing various decks, but most of them seem to play out the same or just don’t play well in my small experience.
